Overlays Made Easy.
Create the kitchen of your dreams and integrate your U-line product with your cabinetry. U-Line provides a very simple and easy way to create that fully integrated look, allowing you to seamlessly blend your refrigerator, ice maker or Wine Captain® into your surrounding cabinetry.
All 2000 Series models accept a 3⁄4" wood overlay panel. Please note that solid door models require the purchase of an overlay kit for the wood panel to be applied. Glass door models have an overlay-ready SKU and do not require the purchase of a kit.
All Modular 3000 Series models can be ordered overlay ready, allowing for simplified application of your custom panel or frame. These models are designed to provide a completely flush and integrated installation. Robust hinges with built in door stops and adjustable doors allow for fine tuning and alignment with zero clearance. The toe kick is adjustable both vertically and horizontally, concealing the ventilation.
For a truly flush and integrated look, align your overlay panel with the bottom of the surrounding cabinetry. this is achieved by preparing the panel height per the dimensions provided in the chart. to determine the cabinet toe-kick height, measure the difference between the surface the appliance will rest on and the bottom edge of the adjacent cabinetry doors or drawers; this will provide you with the needed overlay panel height.
Installation Made Easy.
In preparation of the installation of your U-Line under counter product, determining the rough opening has never been easier. Often times the purchase of a new U-Line product can be months prior to the complete readiness of the space it will occupy.
Using the dimensions provided in the catalog allows you to take the necessary steps in preparing the appropriately sized space required for the ease of installation of your new U-Line.
Although it is recommended to use these dimensions, tolerances can be tightened up. In this case, we advise you to refer to the Features and Benefits document and Installation Guide. These documents can be found and downloaded from any of the product pages found at u-line.com
