Milwaukee, WI– U-Line, the American market leader in premium modular ice making, refrigeration and wine preservation products, has received awards in the 2014 Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) – the largest and most prestigious awards program for product and project design in the architecture and design industry – for three of its Modular 3000 Series products.

“Industry professionals and customers alike have recognized that U-Line’s point-of-use modular refrigeration allows you to reimagine your space by organizing the right products in the right place at the right temperature,” states Mark Russell, VP of Sales and Marketing for U-Line. “This can be accomplished throughout our vast product collection, which provides preservation and organization. By intelligently placing products throughout your space you will discover the perfect kitchen choreography.”

Two models, the 36" Custom Glass Door Refrigerator/Clear Ice Machine (3018RGL/3018CLR) and the 24" Glass Door Refrigerator (3024RGL), won Platinum ADEX awards. The 24" Solid Door Refrigerator (3024RF) won a Gold award.

The Modular 3000 Series actively maintains a stable temperature to ensure proper preservation while sustaining temperatures to within 1°F of the set point, providing the optimal environment for your food and beverages. The Modular 3000 Series models seamlessly integrate into a standard 24” cabinet depth, and are available 18”, 24”, and 36” cabinet widths. A zero clearance, flush installation is easily achieved with concealed and covered hinges, a front ventilation system, adjustable and integrated panel ready toe-kick and doors, four independently adjustable leveling legs, and rear legs that are accessible and adjustable from the front of the unit.

The Modular 3000 Series are equipped with our U-Select® Control, providing you with the ability to choose settings that correspond to the types of foods you preserve and beverages you maintain. With pre-programmed optimal preservation modes for specific types of food, whether meat and dairy, vegetables or drinks, our U-Select® Control settings provide the flexibility to adjust temperatures or utilize the pre-programmed optimal preservation modes to keep food fresher longer and tasting better. All Modular 3000 Series models are equipped with theater lighting that delicately illuminate your contents beautifully. The interior lighting can be set to automatically turn off when the door is closed, or stay on for extended periods; and the interior light brightness can also be set to low, medium, or high, depending on personal preference.
