Henry Uihlein, Sr. founded U-Line Corporation in 1962 as an outgrowth of Ben-Hur Freezers. Henry developed and patented the first undercounter residential ice maker, selling door-to-door. While our products have evolved over the last 6 decades, one thing remains the same – U-Line is proudly rooted in Midwest USA. Our region's deep-rooted values of hard work, resilience, and community are the very principles that drive our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
